Jason Haider, the CEO of San Diego-based Xenco Medical, has been appointed by Gov. Jerry Brown to the California Workforce Development Board.
The board is involved in policy development, measuring economic initiatives and aligning education and workforce trends.
Xenco Medical is a medical technology company seeking to create a safer surgical environment.
Haider, 30, is also a member of the California Association for Local Economic Development.
