WebSideStory Changes Leadership

WebSideStory Inc. announced Oct. 30 that Chief Executive Officer Jeff Lunsford is leaving the company to become CEO for a privately held company.

Jim MacIntyre, the CEO of McLean, Va.-based Visual Sciences , a data analysis company and wholly owned subsidiary of WebSideStory , will become president, CEO and director for WebSideStory effective Nov. 20.

Former CEO of Intuit Inc. and PayPal, Bill Harris will become chairman of WebSideStory’s board.

Lunsford plans to become CEO of a privately held company, the name of which will be disclosed by the company at a later date. He will remain a member of the WebSideStory board of directors.

WebSideStory merged with Visual Sciences in February.

San Diego-based WebSideStory is traded on the Nasdaq as WSSI and closed Oct. 30 at $13.14, down 62 cents from the Oct. 27 close.
