T S Restaurants Promotes Reed to CEO Post

Jackie Reed has been promoted to the post of chief executive officer at locally based T S Restaurants, which operates 14 venues including Duke’s La Jolla and Jake’s in Del Mar.

A company statement said Reed succeeds Bill Parsons, who recently retired as CEO and chairman after 38 years with T S Restaurants. Reed has been with the privately held company for more than 25 years, starting as a hostess and most recently serving as vice president of California operations.

Founded in 1977 by Rob Thibaut and Sandy Saxten, T S Restaurants owns and operates 14 restaurants that are all on waterfront sites in Hawaii and California. Its venues also include Duke’s and Hula Grill locations in Hawaii, Huntington Beach and Malibu, with other brands such as Kimo’s, Keoki’s Paradise, Leilani’s, Sunnyside and Sandy’s.

The company has corporate offices in Solana Beach and Lahaina, Hawaii.
