Soccer Talk 2000 Radio Show, a new weekly soccer radio program, debuted July 8 on KCBQ-AM.
The hourlong program is in an inaugural three-month run on KCBQ.
The show will be hosted by Jeff Scott, chairman of the Soccer Council of San Diego, and Yan Skwara, president and CEO of the San Diego Soccer Development Corp.
Skwara also owns and operates the A-League San Diego Flash and the D3 Pro League Riverside County Elite professional soccer teams.
Joe Tutino, a personality on sports station XTRA-AM, will be a weekly guest host, providing commentary on Major League Soccer and the sport’s media coverage.
Tutino is also the play-by-play commentator for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
“The market is ready for this type of show,” Skwara said in a statement. “With the support of KCBQ, the hosts and the community, I believe that it will be a terrific vehicle for soccer fans in San Diego.”
