Sempra Energy announced Feb. 19 that its board of directors increased the amount of the company’s dividend by 8 percent.
The energy holding company said its dividend will rise from $2.80 per share annually to $3.02 per share.
The first installment of 75.5 cents per share will go out April 15. Shareholders of record on March 25 are eligible to receive the dividend.
Sempra (NYSE: SRE) reported revenue of $11 billion in 2014.
