Callaway Golf Company has appointed Scott H. Baxter to its Board of Directors. According to a press release, Baxter will begin serving immediately for a full one-year term.
Baxter, 55, is currently the president and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Kontoor Brands, Inc. Kontoor is a lifestyle apparel company, according to the release. Prior, he was group president, Americas West, for VF Corporation and was responsible for brands such as The North Face and Vans. Before then, he worked in leadership roles at The Home Depot Company, Nestle and PepsiCo, among others.
Baxter holds a B.A. in History from the University of Toledo and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
The addition of Baxter increases the number of board members at Callaway Golf Comapny from 10 to 11. Callaway Golf Company is headquartered in Carlsbad and its portfolio includes the likes of Callaway Golf, Odyssey, OGIO, TravisMathew and Jack Wolfskin.
