A 6,000-square-foot office and retail building at 1215 San Elijo Road in the community of San Elijo Hills, in San Marcos, sold for $1.95 million. The buyer, Robert E. Goetz, plans to use the space for his marketing company as well as an eatery. Doug Harwood of The Harwood Group represented the buyer. Deborah Hunkeler, Kevin Farrell and Jay Arnett of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller, San Elijo Hills Development.

Jones, Roach & Caringella purchased three units totaling 4,000 square feet at Hillside Professional Center for $773,000. The address is 2221 Camino del Rio S., Suites 200, 202 and 204. Jon Boland and Ryan Bracker of Voit Real Estate Services represented the buyer and seller, Camino del Rio Partners.

Language World purchased five units totaling 8,000 square feet at Hillside Professional Center for $1.6 million. The units are located at 2221 Camino del Rio S., Suites 101, 103, 105, 107 and 109. Scott Danshaw and Justin Harvey of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer. Jon Boland and Ryan Bracker of Voit Real Estate Services represented the seller, Camino del Rio Partners.

LEASES

A collection of artisans and retailers leased 5,000 square feet of commercial space from NTC Promenade at Liberty Station in Barracks 19 at 2690 Historic Decatur Road in Point Loma. The spaces, leased for between 12 and 36 months, will be used for artistic purposes. Sean Giffin, leasing specialist for NTC Promenade, represented the lessees and lessor. Financial terms were not available by last week’s deadline.

Accelerat.us leased 4,400 square feet in the Centrewest Plaza at 9740 Scranton Road. Centrewest includes two three-story office buildings totaling 116,000 square feet on 4.49 acres. The plaza, owned by a Hackman Capital Partners affiliate, is at 93 percent occupancy. Paul Ragnvaldsson of Prudential California Realty represented the lessee, and Steve Wolf and Brunson Howard of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessor. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Sharp HealthCare leased 7,400 square feet of medical office space at 8008 Frost St., Suite 106, in Serra Mesa. The space, leased for 10 years at a value of $1,750,910, will be used for orthopedic care. Jim Laing and Dan McCarthy of Cushman & Wakefield represented the lessee. Mark Mattis of PM Realty represented the lessor, HCP Medical Office Building II.

The Insurance Place Services renewed its lease for 2,300 square feet of retail space at Tri-City Crossroads Center, 3821 Plaza Drive, in Oceanside. The five-year lease is valued at $248,631. Brad Jones of CB Richard Ellis represented the lessor, VOC Realty Investments. Insurance Place represented itself.

Healthbreads signed a 41-month, $121,278 lease for 4,700 square feet of industrial space at 155 Mata Way, Suite 109, in San Marcos. The space will be used for a wholesale bakery. Tucker Hohenstein of Cushman & Wakefield and Glenn Stokoe of Coldwell Banker Commercial represented the lessee. The lessor, The Realty Associates Fund VIII, represented itself.

Semtech leased 10,000 square feet of office space at Carmel Corporate Plaza, 15015 Avenue of Science, in Rancho Bernardo, from Harsch Investment. The five-year lease is valued at $1.2 million. Scott Ginsburg and Damon Melda of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the lessee. Jay Alexander and Ryan Grove of Colliers International represented the lessor.
