Qualcomm Inc. finished its fiscal year Sept. 30 with net income of $3.3 billion on revenue of $8.87 billion, the company said Nov. 8.
The chipmaker beat its financial results from last year, when it had net income of $2.47 billion on revenue of $7.53 billion.
During the fourth quarter, the company reported net income of $1.13 billion on revenue of $2.31 billion. In the year-ago quarter, the company had net income of $614 million on revenue of $1.26 billion.
The company forecast revenue of $9.5 billion to $9.9 billion during the new fiscal year.
Qualcomm trades on the Nasdaq as QCOM. Shares closed Nov. 8 at $39.76, down $1.43 from the previous day’s close.
