San Diego-based Qtron Inc., a printed circuit board manufacturer, is looking for new quarters because of increased business, a company official said.
The privately held company, which currently occupies a total of 45,000 square feet in two locations in the Miramar area, employs 250 people.
Lynn Brock, president and CEO, said March 7 the company is seeking between 125,000 square feet and 150,0000 square feet of manufacturing space.
The company’s revenues increased 120 percent from 1998 to 1999, Brock said. Existing manufacturing backlog and business projections for 2000, along with current customer commitments will provide growth in excess of 150 percent as well.
Qtron, founded in 1993, provides contract-manufacturing services for the electronics industry. Services include assembly of printed circuit boards, electrical testing, materials management, system integration and engineering services, Brock said.
