PR Agency Opens First International Office in Tijuana

San Diego-based public relations agency Nuffer, Smith, Tucker has opened its first international office in Tijuana, Baja California, the firm said in a statement Wednesday.

The office is in Zona Río, Tijuana’s main business district.

Nuffer, Smith, Tucker also said it had hired two new bilingual staff members, fluent in Spanish and in English, who will be based at the new office.

Kathia Bustillos, who has more than 32 years of industry experience, was hired as general director of the office. She was most recently general director for Televisa Baja California, according to the agency.

Analicia Luken, who joins the firm as an account coordinator, started her career as a radio broadcaster. She has worked in the U.S. for Uber San Diego providing customer service and digital support.

“By having a physical presence on both sides of the border we will be able to provide more comprehensive, culturally appropriate services to our clients and contribute our own agency’s experiences to the discussion of the San Diego-Tijuana region and its potential,” said Bill Trumpfheller, agency president.
