Carlsbad-based Kisco Senior Living has appointed J. Mark Dressel chief financial officer of its 21 senior living communities across the country.
Dressel leaves his current position as CFO and COO for Novare Group, a real estate and development-focused holding company.
According to a release from the company, Dressel has over 25 years of experience in finance and operations, including financial leadership at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Kisco Senior Living offers seniors independent lifestyle options, as well as assisted living and memory care at some locations.

The company’s 21 locations are in seven states: California, Florida, Hawaii, North Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
