Indus Technology Inc.’s Defense Deal Potentially Worth $43.5M

Indus Technology Inc. said recently that it won a U.S. Navy task order with a potential value of $43.5 million over five years, if the Navy exercises all of its options.

The Old Town business will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Port Hueneme Division. Specifically, the partners will serve the Ventura County base’s ship defense and expeditionary warfare department.

Under the deal, Indus and its partners will provide combat system engineering services. Such systems protect aircraft carrier strike groups and amphibious ready groups.

The partners will provide engineering, logistics, policy and administrative support services.

Defense contracts come in many forms. This particular contract is a cost plus fixed fee deal.

Subcontractors on the deal are ESN (aka Engineering Services Network Inc.), Quality Innovative Solutions Inc., McKenzie Systems Engineering Associates Inc. and VSolvit LLC.
