ICW Group Insurance Companies has begun writing workers’ compensation insurance in Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota and Missouri, the San Diego-based company announced March 8.
The company, a group of property and casualty carriers, now writes workers’ compensation insurance in 21 states through a network of agents and brokers.
Two current territory managers will oversee the additional states: Keith Guccione, head of ICW Group’s Midwest region, will oversee Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota and Missouri; Beverly Bisazza, head of ICW Group’s Northeast region, will oversee Maryland.
The company, which quotes more than $3 billion annually, is the largest privately held insurance company in California.
