Honeywell International Inc. said June 3 that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase Intelligent Automation Corp. for an undisclosed price. IAC is a Poway-based supplier of diagnostic systems used in military and commercial aircraft.
New Jersey-based Honeywell says that the move will help the company expand its Phoenix-based defense and space electronic systems unit.
Honeywell International is a $37 billion diversified technology and manufacturing company. The company’s stock trades under the symbol HON on the New York Stock Exchange.
