Grubhub Expands Restaurant-Focused Service to Local Market

Chicago-based Grubhub Inc. has expanded to the San Diego market with its delivery services geared to restaurants that do not currently have in-house delivery staff.

A company statement said local eateries recently added to the service include BCB Company, Maggie’s Café, and Taste & Thirst.

The restaurant-focused delivery program launched in June 2014 and has since expanded to nearly 50 U.S. markets. Recent nationwide additions to the service include California Pizza Kitchen, Buca di Beppo, Veggie Grill and Panda Express.

Grubhub’s consumer-based online ordering services have been available in the San Diego market since 2010 and now include more than 800 local restaurants.
