Eddie V’s Prime Seafood, a brand of Florida-based Darden Restaurants Inc. (NYSE: DRI) has opened its newest location at 789 W. Harbor Drive, in The Headquarters at Seaport District retail center in downtown San Diego.
It is the second local restaurant for the fine-dining concept, which has 12 locations nationwide including one in La Jolla.
The restaurants serve seafood dishes and hand-cut steaks, with a wine list including more than 200 selections. Live jazz and blues music is played nightly in the lounge.
The Headquarters, developed by Carlsbad-based Terramar Retail Centers next-door to Seaport Village, opened in November in a historic former police headquarters building. Most of its space is occupied by restaurants, including Puesto, Seasons 52 and The Cheesecake Factory.
