Swinerton Builders of San Diego has completed construction of San Diego State University’s new BioScience Center, a 38,000-square-foot classroom and lab facility on the main campus. Adjacent to the Life Sciences Building, the new center will be dedicated on March 1.

Smith Consulting Architects has submitted for approval the design of a 57,000-square-foot campus, encompassing 4.7 acres off Ruffin Road.
Soledad Development Group, LLC, hired Smith for the project, with construction expected to start in January, with completion set for September 2007.
