Roel Construction Co. has completed the construction of another phase of the Aviara time shares on Kingfisher Lane in Carlsbad. The 25,254-square-foot project consists of two time-share buildings and adjacent site work for Four Seasons Resort Club. The wood-frame and stucco buildings are three-level villas, with two units per floor. The two-bedroom/two-bath units come with a lock-off option that splits the unit into two, allowing separate guests in one unit.

Cost: $6.5 million.

Johnson and Jennings General Contracting has completed tenant improvement construction for the two-story corporate offices of Goal Financial, a financial lending company, at 9477 Waples St. in Sorrento Mesa.

Cost: $145,000.

Project manager: Jim Lohnes.

On-site supervisor: John Batis.

Space planner: Ralph Linder, Austin Veum Robbins Partners.

Subcontractors: Interior Specialties, Schmidt Fire Protection, McBride Door, Qualtec Electric, and Countywide Mechanical.

Gafcon Inc., a San Diego-based construction management and consulting firm, recently assisted the city of Coronado’s engineering and project development department with the renovation of the historic Coronado Public Library at 640 Orange Ave. A grand opening ceremony for the library was held June 10. The project included expansion of the children’s library and restoration of the 97-year-old Spreckels Building and Ramos Martinez murals.

Cost: $7.25 million.

Construction management: Robert America.

General contractor: C.E. Wylie Construction.

Architect: Tom Anglewicz of M.W. Steele Group.

Gateway Asset Management has completed renovation at Lincoln Plaza, a two-story, 23,000-square-foot neighborhood retail center on Poway Road.

Cost: $150,000.

Oversight: Scott Robinson.

Project architect: Russell Stout Associates.

Landscape architect: Environs Landscape Architecture.

Subcontractors: Brickman Group and Tony Gallo Painting.
