The California Life Sciences Association added three new board members, it was announced this week.
Elected to the board:
• Jamey Millar, senior vice president of managed markets and government affairs at GlaxoSmithKline;
• Wendye Robbins, president & CEO, Blade Therapeutics; and
• Dirksen Lehman, corporate vice president, public affairs, Edwards Lifesciences.
Now the trade group — which has an office in San Diego and in San Francisco — has 47 board members. It represents biotechs, pharmaceuticals, medical device firms and diagnostics companies.
In addition to the appointments, the association added Dirksen Lehman, corporate vice president of public affairs at Edwards Lifesciences, to its executive committee.
