San Diego’s HUYA Bioscience International announced that it has recruited Andy Claude as vice president of finance.
Claude has over 18 years experience in finance, including expertise working at public and private life science companies, including Suneva Medical and Regulus Therapeutics, where he held controller and financial management positions.
Prior to that, he spent six years in public accounting, most recently with KPMG.
Claude received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is a certified public accountant.
Claude’s addition to the senior management team will support the company’s international expansion, according to a HUYA press release.
HUYA, which develops biopharmaceuticals for cancer and cardiovascular indications, has offices in the United Kingdom, Japan and eight locations across China, with joint headquarters in San Diego and Shanghai.
