Advanced Marketing Services Inc., the San Diego-based distributor of books in warehouse stores, said it authorized the repurchase of 350,000 shares of its common stock.
This follows an earlier stock repurchase in October of some 350,000 shares.
AMS President Michael Nicita said the repurchase program demonstrates management’s positive outlook and the company’s ability to grow stockholder value.
