Alaska Airlines will offer new daily nonstop service between San Diego and Baltimore starting March 15, the carrier announced.
A statement from the Seattle-based airline said there will be one flight departing daily from San Diego International Airport at 10:55 p.m. beginning on March 15; and one departing from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport at 6:15 a.m. starting March 16.
The nonstop flights will use a Boeing 737 aircraft, with more information at alaskaair.com. This will be the fourth East Coast destination added by Alaska Airlines from San Diego since 2012, the statement said.
Other recent additions by the carrier included Boston, Orlando and Newark, New Jersey. Alaska currently serves Baltimore from just two other West Coast cities – Seattle and Los Angeles.
