Breg Inc., a manufacturer of sports medicine products, has signed a group purchasing agreement with health care improvement firm Premier Inc.
The new three-year contract includes all of Breg’s cold therapy, bracing and soft goods products, according to a recent news release.
North Carolina-based Premier operates a group purchasing alliance that includes about 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other providers. Premier members purchase more than $44 billion in supplies through contracts annually, according to the news release.
Breg, founded in 1989, is based in Carlsbad and is a company of Water Street Healthcare Partners, a strategic health care industry investor.
