Lytx Inc., a company focusing on driver safety and compliance, announced that Con-Way Freight has rolled out Lytx’s DriveCam driver safety management program fleetwide to more than 8,500 vehicles.
Con-Way Freight, a leading less-than-truckload carrier, signed a multiyear agreement with San Diego-based Lytx, according to the company, which was formerly called DriveCam Inc. Terms of the agreement were not released.
Lytx said DriveCam increases safety by combining video and predictive analytics with real-time driver feedback and coaching to help improve driver performance and reduce incidents.
Lytx also provides compliance services, fleet tracking, fuel management and personal solutions for driver safety.
Privately held Lytx doesn’t reveal financial information. It had about 240 employees working for it last year, with most of them working in San Diego.
