Following the State of California’s full reopening plan for June 15, the Padres announced Petco Park will open to 100% capacity for the first time in over a year and a half. It will officially reopen Thursday, June 17, when the Padres play against the Cincinnati Reds.
During “San Diego’s Opening Day”, the Padres along with partners at Petco, the health and wellness company for pets, will host and honor local frontline workers. On Friday, June 18, the Padres will host the first BeerFest of the season, a pre-game happy hour in Gallagher Square featuring 12-ounce $5 beers from local and national partners, including Ballast Point.
On Saturday, June 19, a live band will perform on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square and on Sunday, June 20, the Padres celebrate Father’s Day with the return of KidsFest before the game.
Beginning on June 17, all Padres Season Ticket Members will return to their regular seat locations. Single-game tickets for San Diego’s Opening Series and the remainder of the 2021 Padres home season will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 4.
Petco Park has enhanced health and safety measures, including additional cleaning, touchless soap, towel and hand sanitizer stations and UV light handrails on escalators throughout the ballpark.
