Mission Valley Hotel Owner Obtains $33 Million in Refinancing

Hotel property owner T2 Hospitality of Newport Beach has obtained $33 million in refinancing for its Hampton Inn San Diego/Mission Valley, according to real estate services provider HFF, which arranged the financing.

An HFF statement said the company secured a 10-year, fixed-rate loan through Goldman Sachs Mortgage Co. for the 184-room hotel, located at 2151 Hotel Circle South in Mission Valley. Loan proceeds were used to refinance existing debt.

The HFF debt placement team representing the borrower was led by Managing Director James Fowler.

Part of Tarsadia Alliance, T2 Hospitality owns eight hotels, including three in San Diego, and has five others in development in the local market, according to its website. It also manages hotels on behalf of client owners.
