Carlsbad Resort Opens New Restaurant, Spa

Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara recently opened a new on-site restaurant and spa to the general public, as part of a $6 million renovation of the Carlsbad luxury resort.

A statement from operators said Seasons Restaurant, helmed by Chef de Cuisine Conor Ball, serves dishes and cocktails sourced with local ingredients that are changed seasonally. The venue has indoor and outdoor seating, an interactive family-style Chef’s Table and a “Kitchen Counter” dining space.

The boutique Driftwood Spa includes three treatment rooms, a nail salon and various other curated and personalized services. The restaurant and spa are part of a larger renovation that also included a redesign of the property’s lobby.

The resort and vacation rental property includes 246 villas and is located at 7210 Blue Heron Place, in Carlsbad’s Aviara neighborhood. According to its website, the property is operated by Four Seasons Hotels Ltd.

Operators said the restaurant and spa were initially part of a 2015 renovation geared to guest-only services, but the venues were just recently opened to the general public.
