The World Trade Center San Diego and the SBA are offering free assistance plus reimbursement of up to $500 to attend the Access 2013 international trade forum May 1-2 at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla. The forum will feature the appearance of U.S. commercial service officers and other trade specialists who will talk about sales opportunities for U.S. generated products in other parts of the globe. Details at SDVG.org … San Diego’s IPS Group Inc., which designs, and makes solar-powered wireless parking meters, says Manhattan Beach has purchased 420 of its new meters. With the purchase, the city will have a total of 1,200 of the new space-age meters on streets and in municipal lots. The company says that 62 percent of the city’s parking customers use credit cards to pay for time on the meters, a capability very popular among motorists … KCBQ radio hosts a day with the experts, featuring personalities from its broadcasting lineup April 18 at the Hall of Champions in Balboa Park.
