ServiceChannel, a facilities management software and contractor sourcing platform, announced Feb. 3 its acquisition of San Diego-based Big Sky Technologies, Inc.
“Our two companies share a common goal to transform the commercial facilities management industry into a modern online marketplace that provides unprecedented transparency, efficiency, automation, and insight — and this exciting combination will accelerate our ability to provide those values to the market,” said Tom Buiocchi, CEO of ServiceChannel, in a news release.
Big Sky Technologies, a private company that provides software to retailers and restaurants, will work with ServiceChannel to offer a wider array of services and to develop better technology and products.
Big Sky will function as a separate division within ServiceChannel with its product line and customer support models, according to a release from the company. Even so, ServiceChannel will offer Big Sky as part of its product portfolio. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
