ImageWare Systems Inc. and partner Four Points Technology LLC received a deal from the Department of Veterans Affairs that could be worth as much as $3 million over two years, provided that the federal agency exercises all of its options.
ImageWare, a San Diego company which offers biometric identification technology, announced the licensing and support deal Dec. 4.
Separately on Dec. 4, ImageWare said U.S. patent authorities gave the company notice that ImageWare’s 11th patent will be granted. The application covers multimodal biometric database searching methods.

Four Points Technology is service-disabled veteran-owned business based in Virginia.
