Aviatech, a longtime San Diego integrated marketing and digital services agency, has changed its name to Mindstream Interactive after joining forces with SBC Interactive of Columbus, Ohio.
At the same time, Mindstream becomes a member company in Memphis, Tenn.-based Eastport Holdings LLC’s network.
Mindstream will keep the current Aviatech office on Trade Street in San Diego while maintaining an office in Columbus, Mindstream said.
According to the company, the two offices will offer various services related to digital and Internet marketing.
Todd Juneau, longtime Aviatech president and chief operating officer, is now president of Mindstream Interactive’s San Diego office.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer up more opportunities for our employees and our clients as well as expand our service offerings as part of the Eastport network,” Juneau said.
Dwight Gould, who founded Aviatech with his wife Cheryl, plans to stay with Mindstream Interactive for one year in a consulting role.
The combined company will employ about 90 people and will retain current clients and employees, Mindstream said.
As an Eastport Holdings member company, it will also serve Eastport’s four other media, marketing and advertising agencies, and will seek new clients to add to its roster of local, national and regional clients, according to Mindstream.
