Richard Sanborn came to Seacoast Commerce Bank in 2007 and has served as a director, president and CEO since. He’s spent more than two decades in the banking industry where he has held executive level positions and has extensive experience in all facets of banking, including lending, mergers and acquisitions, operations and strategic planning. He came to Seacoast from Pacific Western Bank, where he was executive vice president. He has led Seacoast to become one of the 10 largest Small Business Administration lenders in the U.S. – garnering nearly 19-percent returns for investors. He is a recent past chairman of the California Bankers Association.
