PRESIDENT & CEO, CATALYST OF SAN DIEGO & IMPERIAL COUNTIES
Megan Thomas has been with Catalyst of San Diego and Imperial Counties for seven years, the last 1½ years as president and CEO. Thomas is charged with guiding Catalyst toward a vision of a social change ecosystem that improves the lives of all San Diego and Imperial county residents. She guides the $7 million organization that once was known as San Diego Grantmakers. The group works to increase equity-driven, impactful solutions to regional issues. Thomas was previously with San Diego Coastkeeper for nearly seven years, the last 3½ as its executive director. Thomas earned bachelor degrees in international business and Spanish at Georgetown University and has an MBA in nonprofit management from the Yale School of Management.
