Chris Sichel has been president and CEO of the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation since 2021. For more than 37 years, the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation has been a community partner in philanthropy, offering individuals, families and organizations simple and effective ways for charitable giving. Sichel was previously president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego for 16 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in recreation administration from Cal Poly SLO and attended the Harvard Business School. He has been a committee member since 2005 with the San Diego Bowl Game Association, was president of the Rotary Club of San Diego and was a board member at the Better Business Bureau of San Diego
