CEO, GIRL SCOUTS SAN DIEGO
Carol Dedrich has been CEO for Girl Scouts San Diego for six years. Dedrich is responsible for the vision and direction of the council in partnership with a board of directors. The group oversees 23,000 girls in San Diego and Imperial counties as well as 12,000 volunteers, 120 full-time employees, 150 season staff members and a $12 million budget. She was previously chief external relations officer for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. Dedrich was also vice president of development at the John Wayne Cancer Institute. She also served as a captain, air defense artillery in the U.S. Army and has an MBA from the University of Arizona
