As chief operating officer of Presidium Health, Melody Shedlosky helped implement a pilot program with Community Health Group, San Diego’s largest nonprofit health plan that lowered the cost of treating the most expensive patients by 53% while also increasing the care they received. Before working at Presidium, Shedlosky worked as a nurse at Scripps Mercy Hospital and then Sharp HealthCare where she became manager of the Sharp Grossmont Hospital’s Shortstay/Oberservation Unit.
