Ross Stores Inc. plans to open two locations of its dd’s Discounts retail chain Feb. 25, the company said on its website Feb. 17.
The stores will open at 1325 Third Ave. in Chula Vista, and 121 S. Rancho Santa Fe Road in San Marcos, bringing the company’s local total to four dd’s stores.
The stores sell men’s and women’s clothing and accessories at bargain prices, and are usually located in small neighborhood shopping centers, according to a statement. They are a deep-discount version of the Pleasanton-based retailer’s Ross Dress for Less stores.
Ross operates more than 1,000 stores nationwide, including 10 San Diego County locations of Ross Dress for Less.
