San Diego-based Chose Foods, makers of avocado oil and avocado-focused products, has launched its first collection of refrigerated products.
The classic guacamole, spicy guacamole, avocado mash and avocado tomatillo salsa are the latest offerings from Chosen Foods, and are all certified Non-GMO verified, Kosher and high-pressured processed for freshness. Chosen Foods already sells cooking sprays, mayos, salad dressing and simmer sauces.
“This project has been a labor of love for our team here at Chosen Foods” said Gabriel Perez Krieb, CEO of Chosen Foods. “We’ve had our eyes on the guacamole space for a while now and for over 12 months we worked tirelessly across the organization to deliver a fresh, flavorful and creamy guacamole line that, like our avocado oil, always provides the highest quality to our consumers.”
Earlier this year, Chose Foods released a frozen, diced avocado product and five new tahini-forward avocado oil-based salad dressings.
Founded in 2011, Chose Foods work with over 1,000 farmers in Central Mexico to grow more than 350 million avocados a year.
