W.E. O’Neil Construction Co. President John Finn announced the acquisition of Hearne Construction, a San-Diego based general contractor.
Bill Hearne, president of Hearne Construction, will stay on as Hearne’s president, and the company will continue to operate as Hearne Construction, a division of W.E. O’Neil.
The companies have a shared portfolio that specializes in aerospace, assisted living, biopharmaceutical, education, entertainment, gaming, hospital and healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, office and retail.
O’Neil Industries, the parent company of W.E. O’Neil Construction Co., is headquartered in Chicago with operating divisions in Chicago, Tucson, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Ontario (California), Denver and Brentwood, according to the company’s release.
