SDBJ 500 recap: Dan Broderick leads all service lines for the Southwest region of Cushman & Wakefield, comprised of 5 regions and over 1,000 professionals, including 250 in the local San Diego area. Dan is responsible for all aspects of the business: client engagement, growth, and talent developing. Dan oversees Capital Markets, Occupier Services, Investor Services, Property Management and Project Management in the region. Dan came to Cushman & Wakefield through a series of mergers and acquisitions. Dan led the legacy commercial real estate firm of BRE as president and CEO through the sale and merger to the national firm Cassidy Turley (July 2013). As a Board Member of Cassidy Turley, he led the Southwestern Region in the merger with the global platform of Cushman & Wakefield, and DTZ (2015). Dan is a volunteer and contributor to a myriad of industry, philanthropic and charitable causes, including serving on the Meals on Wheels advisory board and the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate policy advisory board. His industry involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Stanford Professionals In Real Estate (SPIRE), Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the policy advisory board of the USD Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate, past President and long-standing Board Member for the San Diego chapter of NAIOP; and a member of ULI.
