Charleston, S.C.-based Greystar has acquired two senior housing communities in San Marcos for a total of $44.25 million, according to brokerage firm Berkadia.
The seller of the properties – the 151-unit Casa Vallecitos at 852 Avenida Ricardo and 104-unit Hacienda Vallecitos at 736 Center Drive – was San Diego-headquartered R&V Management Corp.
The seller was represented by Berkadia’s Ed Rosen, John Chu, Kyle Pinkalla and Erin Dammen.
Brokers said the communities provide housing and related services for active adults 55 and older. Casa Vallecitos was built in 1992, and Hacienda Vallecitos was built in 2001.
