The Sentinels Residences Offer La Jolla Valley View

Following the sales success of one home per week in February, builder Davidson Communities has announced that four new homes were released for sale at The Sentinels by Davidson at Del Sur. Current prices start in the $700,000s for the collection of hilltop homes overlooking the La Jolla Valley.

“The Sentinels offers luxurious living, with architectural details carefully crafted to capture the unique character of a Tuscan village,” said builder Bill Davidson, president of Davidson Communities. “Because these elevated sites capture the coastal breeze that comes up the La Jolla Valley, our plans really emphasize indoor/outdoor living. Nearly every first floor room opens to an expansive interior courtyard.”

Featuring one-, two- and three-level residences, The Sentinels by Davidson range from three to four bedrooms, 3.5 to 4.5 bathrooms and 2,772 to 3,329 square feet. Ground floor master bedroom suites in three of four plans available provide for single-level living. Some locations offer the option of a home office, guest residence or retreat. Home sites at The Sentinels range from 6,972 to 16,823 square feet.

Construction Commences At Beacons By CityMark

CityMark Development has started home construction at Beacons, a neighborhood of 10 detached residences located in Leucadia, adjacent to the coast and just west of Highway 101.

The homes will expand access to coastal living in a neighborhood designed to maintain the spirit of Leucadia.

“It’s not often that you get the opportunity to build new homes in Leucadia, and we want to do it right,” said Richard Gustafson, CityMark president. “There is a certain nostalgia tied to the eclectic neighborhoods and businesses that comprise this community. In light of that, we are building one-of-a-kind homes that fit the surroundings and give residents the urban experience of walking to Leucadia’s beaches, shops and restaurants.”

Located near the corner of Highway 101 and Daphne Street, the residences at Beacons Leucadia will range from 1,930 to 3,150 square feet with three to four bedrooms. Designed to the highest standards, the homes include a variety of amenities. Home buyers can select finishing options to suit their individual needs.

“Our beach communities are precious areas and require thoughtful revitalization that helps maintain property values, increases housing options and ensures that local businesses have a steady source of customers,” said Gustafson. “We’re happy to play a role in that process by providing well-designed infill construction that results in distinctive homes capturing the style of coastal California.”

Luxury Homes Selling Out at Sapphire Tower

Sapphire Tower has sold 80 percent of its residential high-rise units. The sale of several furnished model homes, including one for $2.2 million, has contributed to this success.

According to Chuck Sigmon, director of sales and marketing for Sapphire Tower, the availability of furnished, turnkey homes designed by high-end interior designers, has kept interest high and the sales momentum rolling.

“All of the turnkey homes showcased at Sapphire Tower have their own unique style that caters to the discriminating downtown buyer,” Sigmon said. “Having furnished residences helps buyers to visualize how well our large, open floor plans function. It is especially nice for buyers who want to avoid the hassles of finishing off a new place. There is something to the idea of instant gratification when you only need to bring your clothes and toothbrush.”

San Diego-based interior design firms Design Squared and Artisan Design Group, winner of the Nationals Gold Award, are the creative forces behind the designer-appointed, move-in ready homes.

Sapphire Tower is located on the southwest corner of Kettner Boulevard and A Street in downtown San Diego.
