Lexicon Consulting, an El Cajon-based firm that trains Department of Defense and military personnel before they’re deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, was ranked fourth fastest growing company in the nation by Inc. Magazine in its September issue.
Last year, the business that launched in 2005 generated revenue of $14.4 million, an increase of 14,018 percent over its 2006 revenue of $102,000, according to Inc.
A few other local firms cracked the Inc. 500 including No. 62, Fortune Builders, a San Diego firm that conducts real estate seminars and grew by 3,648 percent over the three-year period; No. 69, Service-now.com, a developer and provider of enterprise software solutions, which grew 3,441 percent; and No. 116, Anakam, a maker of identity verification software, which grew 2,208 percent.
