The median price for a single-family house in San Diego was $470,000 in February, down slightly from January, according to the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors.
The median price was up 15 percent from February 2013. Sales of single-family houses increased 8 percent last month from January, although they were still about 12 percent below February 2013, the Realtors’ association said.
The median price for condos in the county last month was $299,900, down from $305,000 in January, but up 20 percent from the like month of 2013.
Sales of condos last month increased 6 percent from January, but were down 5 percent from the like month of last year.
In February, Encanto, Spring Valley, Fallbrook, Ramona and El Cajon saw the most sales of single-family houses among local areas.
The most expensive house sold last month was a three-bedroom, three-bath, 1,840-square foot house in Del Mar for $7.5 million.
