LLJ Ventures of San Diego has purchased the three-building Seville Plaza office campus in Kearny Mesa for $18.2 million, according to brokerage company JLL.
CoStar Group data indicates that the seller was an affiliate of LNR Partners LLC of Miami Beach, Fla. The seller was represented by JLL’s Bob Prendergast and Lynn LaChapelle.
Seville Plaza totals 139,993 square feet and is located at 5469, 5471 and 5473 Kearny Villa Road. A JLL statement said the property was developed in 1981 and was 62 percent leased at the time of sale.
LLJ Ventures is the private equity arm of San Diego-based LM Capital and has $900 million in assets under management. The buyer has retained JLL’s Tony Russell, Richard Gonor and Brandt Riedman as leasing agents and will engage JLL for property management duties at Seville Plaza.
