Atlanta-based Wood Partners plans to develop a 110-unit luxury apartment project, after acquiring a bayfront site in downtown’s Little Italy for $15 million, according to brokerage company Colliers International.
The seller of the property, at 1919 Pacific Highway, was Thomas Chen Associates. The buyer and seller were represented by Colliers’ Victor Krebs in an off-market transaction.
Brokers said the buyer plans to develop an eight-story apartment project with unobstructed views of San Diego Bay. The project’s designer is locally based Carrier Johnson + Culture Architects.
