Investor QWN Ltd. of Hong Kong has purchased the leasehold on a La Jolla retail building housing CVS Pharmacy for approximately $8 million, according to brokerage company Lee & Associates, which represented the seller.
The seller was MacDonald Family Trust of San Diego. The 11,900-square-foot building is at 5495 La Jolla Blvd., in the Bird Rock community.
Ryan Litrich and Jim Garvin, in the Carlsbad office of Lee & Associates, represented the seller, and Deborah Chew & Associates of San Diego represented the buyer.
According to CoStar Group, the building was completed on 0.46 acres in 2008. The deal involved the building only.
