Express Dry Buys Escondido Warehouse

An Escondido industrial building has been sold for $4.38 million to be used for the expansion of Express Dry.

Express Dry, under the name Expressunits1449, LLC bought the 14,000-square-foot building at 1449 Simpson Way from Marky Sparky Toys.

The building has a fenced yard for secure parking and storage, heavy power, 17-foot clear height and two dock doors.

Chris Baumgart, executive director of JLL, represented Express Dry.

Marky Sparky Toys was represented by San Diego Commercial.

“The Escondido submarket of North San Diego County continues to be highly desirable for industrial users with current vacancy around 2.5 %,” Baumgart said. “1449 Simpson Way provides the buyer with good warehouse functionality and outside storage to secure equipment and vehicles.
