An affiliate of New York-based Brixmor Property Group has acquired the Felicita Town Center retail property in Escondido for $40.1 million, according to CoStar Group and public data.
The seller of the five-building center, totaling 141,435 square feet, was an affiliate of Solana Beach-headquartered Gerrity Group LLC. The center, built in 1990, spans approximately 17.3 acres at 1805, 1809, 1815-85, 1829-31 and 1895 S. Centre City Pkwy.
The seller was represented by Glenn Rudy, Rob Ippolito and Pete Bethea of brokerage firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. The property was nearly fully leased at the time of sale and is anchored by Major Market, Trader Joe’s and Rite Aid.
