Carlsbad-based CommonGrounds Workplace signed a 13-year lease in Northeast Atlanta for 49,506 square feet of office space, the company announced.
The property at 999 Peachtree St. in Atlanta will be CommonGrounds’ first coworking space in Atlanta and is slated to open in first quarter of 2020.
Massachussets-based Franklin Street Properties owns 999 Peachtree. CommonGrounds first engaged the developer and owner in late-2018 when it signed a lease with the company in Minneapolis.
CommonGrounds is backed by Pacifica Enterprises and closed a $100 million investment round in January. The company said it plans to add 50 locations nationally.
